Projects start at $30,000 and run up to about $180,000. Most land between $50,000 and $100,000. What moves the number is scope and how many platforms it has to run on, not how many hours we sat at a desk.

You get a fixed price for a defined scope before anything is built. If the scope changes we re-quote that piece rather than quietly billing more.

One payment up front to commit, then the rest against milestones. Every milestone has a deliverable written down before we start, so you always know what the next invoice is for.

Anywhere from a month to a year. A focused first version can be live in four to six weeks. A full product with several platforms behind it takes most of a year.

You get a real date for your scope before we start, not an average.

One person who can decide, and a few hours a week. We show work early and ask questions as we go, so an answer that takes a fortnight costs you a fortnight.

Content, accounts and access as well. We tell you what and when, rather than handing you a list on day one.

We do. We are not one company sitting in one office. We are four independent freelancers covering design, iOS, web and backend, and we team up when a project calls for it.

You know from the first conversation who is on your project. The people you meet are the people who write the code, they do not get swapped out after the first meeting, and nothing gets outsourced.

Design is part of the team, not an extra line. A designer is on the product from discovery onwards, so the thing that gets built is the thing that was drawn.

If you already have a designer or a design system we work inside it instead.

Yes. We read the code first and tell you what is worth keeping. Sometimes that is all of it, sometimes only the idea.

You get that answer before you commit to any build.

You do, once the project is finished and paid for. What exactly transfers is written into the contract for each project, because it depends on what we build and how it is licensed.

We use open-source libraries and normal hosted services. There is nothing of ours in the stack that you would have to keep paying us for.

Most clients keep us on a monthly arrangement for fixes, updates and the next round of features. It is a rolling agreement, not a lock-in.

What it costs depends on how much is actually moving. A small site that just needs to stay up and current can be around $120 a month. A product under continuous development, with new features shipping every month, runs into the thousands.
