About this project

An e-learning company ran its entire business across roughly fifty disconnected tools, with every staff member able to see everything. This platform is the whole operation in one place: courses, video and live calls sitting next to the purchases that unlock them, with access computed from real billing events rather than maintained by hand. Staff sign in through an invitation-only, TOTP-enforced account and see only the areas their capabilities allow, and every action anyone takes is written to an audit log.

The challenge

Least privilege in a company that never had it was more social than technical: telling people they would see less than before. A closed list of capabilities made that a design decision instead of a per-request argument. Automated removal is the dangerous part, so enforcement is armed deliberately, has an emergency stop, and brakes itself if a single run would remove too much of the roster.
